Even with streaming offerings, I never seem to find enough decent spooky stuff that really piques my interest. However, there are a few things that make my head turn.
This announcement of a show about Wednesday Addams makes me want to actually open Netflix. I haven’t been into their originals at all for quite a while.
It’s going to be so tough to top Christina Ricci in this role, but we’ll see how it plays out.
Tim Burton will be behind it, so it’ll have that signature eerie-ness to it. No word on a release date as it’s still putting together the main cast as of this week (mid-August).
Fingers crossed!

I put my Hulu on pause too – for months now because I haven’t been that happy with it- until I saw this preview. Granted, many seasons of American Horror Story are simply hit or miss. However this one has salt spray, so yeah.
It looks like a combo of my feature screenplay Hag Stone + The Shining… The difference is with my story- the lead (who is a writer) is a woman. We so rarely ever see this in suspense or horror. We had Jack Nicholson in The Shining, Johnny Depp also as a writer in a house in the woods in a movie called Secret Window, and now we have Finn Wittrock for #AHS10 aka #AHSRedTide coming out on August 25 of this year- 2021.
And of course, we still have a few more weekly released episodes left of Ghost Adventures Season 25, but why only six episodes? There must be a Halloween special this year, right? Right?
My favorite episode of this season so far is the Virginia City/Mark Twain one- well done.
I revel in being so dorky that I’m part of a group of writers that does #GhostAdventuresLiveTweet. Join us some time, won’t you? We’re going by #HauntedHangouts!

Got any other spooky viewing coming out this half of the year that I need to have on my radar?
